After completing the AFT course last weekend I was so impressed with the standard of training we recieved I have decided to further my knowledge by completing Faster Fitness’s Diploma in Functional Performance. Allowing me to increase my understanding of functional fitness and chain-reaction biomechanics further.  An area of fitness that i am extremely passionate about and look forward to learning more on the subject.

The diploma is made up of 6 modules and is likely to take between 8-12 months to complete. I will be adding regular posts to keep you all updated on my progress!!

Wish me luck!!!

Further Studies – AFT

I recently attended a two-day course on Advanced Functional Training. The course was run by Faster Fitness and teaches methods to assess function during movement. We looked at various ways to assess a clients gait (how they walk) and look out for dysfunctions in the 3 planes of movement; sagital (front to back), frontal (side to side) and transverse (rotation). By correcting any dysfunctions that show up in gait the body can reduce painful cycles and improve performance drastically.

The course was challenging but i loved every minute of it and im looking forward to learning more through Faster Fitness in the near future!
